The Cild of Indian Head, MD

It was June 13, 1996, and I had decided to take a hunting trip to Indian Head, MD, near Mattawoman Creek to relax. I was excited to spend the day in the woods, chasing wild turkeys and enjoying the peace and quiet of nature. Little did I know that this trip would change my life forever.

As I was making my way through the dense forest, I heard a rustling in the bushes. I spun around, my heart pounding in my chest, ready to face whatever was lurking in the shadows. And that’s when I saw it. A tall creature, with a childlike body and legs as long as Michael Jordan standing in front of me. Its skin was a pale, sickly white, and its eyes were large and black, like pools of ink.

I was frozen, unable to move as the creature approached me. It had a deep, guttural voice that sent shivers down my spine as it growled. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I had heard rumors of strange creatures in the woods, but I never took them seriously.

As The creature and I stood there, I couldn’t help but feel that there was something off about it. Despite its childlike appearance, there was something sinister lurking just beneath the surface. I felt a growing sense of dread as I realized that I was in over my head.

Just as I was about to make a break for it, the creature reached out and grabbed me by the arm. I was terrified, but the creature just made a sound that resembled a burst of human laughter and let me go.

I made my way back to the safety of my truck, still in shock from my encounter with the creature. As I drove away, I couldn’t help but wonder what the creature was and why it was in the woods. It wasn’t until later, after some research, that I learned the legend of “The Big Cild” and the terror it had brought to the area for generations.

I survived my encounter with “The Big Cild”, but I never forgot the feeling of fear that had gripped me in the woods. I recorded the experience in my journal, hoping to share my story with others and warn them of the dangers that lay around Indian Head. The memory of “The Big Cild” will stay with me forever, a reminder of the strange and mysterious world that lay just beyond the reach of human understanding.
